Cancellation Policy
The minimum notice we require for shortening the rental period of a vehicle is 30 days. We cannot provide a refund for unused time - this applies to both late collection and/or early return of a vehicle. The same conditions apply once the rental has started. This is because we will be unable to rent out this vehicle again.
For Campervan Viking: There is no cancellation fee only if the cancellation is made at least 15 days prior to the beginning of the rental. If the cancellation is made less than 15 days prior to the beginning of the rental, the cancellation fee will be the total cost of the rental.
For Campervan Play, Campervan ECO Play, Campervan Play Max & Campervan VW California: There is no cancellation fee only if the cancellation is made at least 30 days prior to the beginning of the rental. If the cancellation is made less than 30 days prior to the beginning of the rental, the cancellation fee will be the total cost of the rental. *A 3% transaction fee may apply.
For Campervan e-Play Electric: There is no cancellation fee only if the cancellation is made at least 60 days prior to the beginning of the rental. If you cancel your booking more than 30 days before your pickup date, you will pay a fee of up to 50% of the total rental price. But if you cancel 15 days or less before pickup, the cancellation fee will equal the full rental cost.
For motorhomes Cute, Premium and Exquisite: If you cancel any of these models with 30 days or more before the rental begins, the cancellation fee is 15% of the total rental cost. In the case cancellation notice is provided 29 to 15 days before pickup, then you will pay a fee of up to 65% of the total rental price. For cancellations made from 15 days to 1 day before your rental starts, the cancellation fee can be up to the full 100% of the rental cost. There will be no refund for no-shows.
For motorhomes Comfy, Family, Homey and Luxus: The cancellation fee is the total cost of the rental for these models.
Age requirement and drivers license
A valid driver’s license acquired at least 1 year in advance of the rental must be presented. Renter must be 21 years of age for campervans and 25 years of age for Campervan VW California and motorhomes.
Reservation
In order to guarantee your booking you should make your reservation by paying the booking fee. Our booking system will let you know right away if there is a camper available.
If you do not find the vehicle you want at the requested dates please contact us to assist you in finding a solution. We will do our best to accommodate you.
Payment
When you book a car on our webpage we will charge your credit card between 15% and 100% of the total rental price depends on vehicle. The rest you can pay when you pick up the car in Norway with credit card or cash (NOK, EUR, GBP or USD). For some vehicles you will need to pay the balance of the rental cost in NOK 60 days before beginning of the rental (please notice additional 0,1% charge).
A record of your credit card information will be taken at the start of the rental for insurance proposes, even when a voucher covers the total cost of the rental. This credit card info may be used to pay all extra charges such as extra insurance, parking fines, damages or any cost incurred regarding the rented car.
We will place an authorized hold for Motorhomes Cute, Premium and Exquisite. The amount will correspond to the insurance excess, which is 20,000 NOK. In case of adding the SCDW insurance, the amount blocked will be 9,900 NOK. This hold must be made upon collection using an acceptable card (EC card or MasterCard, Visa, American Express).
We will place an authorized hold for Motorhomes Comfy, Family and Luxus. The amount will correspond to the insurance excess, which is 30,000 NOK. In case of adding the SCDW insurance, the amount blocked will be 15,000 NOK. This hold must be made upon collection using an acceptable card (EC card or MasterCard, Visa, American Express).
Debit / Prepaid cards or cash are not accepted as a deposit at the beginning of rental anywhere.
Pick up and return service
Important: customers arriving at the airport will be offered different pick ups options to begin the rental. It is important you check pick up information we always send by e-mail around 10 days before the begin of the rental. Check your booking confirmation or pick up instructions, you will find there a telephone number where to call in case of questions or pick up matters.
Depending on the vehicle, we do offer different pick up and drop off locations. Just check it online for each campervan.
Car Types
In the event the car requested is not available we reserve the right to substitute vehicles with similar or higher class vehicle.
We will always guarantee the number of seats/beds that you requested. However, we cannot guarantee the exact model of camper van that will be delivered to you. For this reason the vehicle´s interior and layout may differ substantially from the images displayed on our website.
Fuel tank
The rental car will normally have a full tank of fuel. The car should be returned full. In the case of where the tank is not full the car should be returned with the same amount of fuel as when the rental began.
If the fuel tank is not full at return, an extra fee of 600 NOK + twice the price for filling the fuel tank.
Tax + No hidden fees
Local value added tax (VAT) 25% is included in all prices so no hidden fees will surprise you.
